Great Day Today

I woke myself up this morning, optimistic and dancing to my Gospel music off of my Ipod. I am one of the few morning people you will ever meet, because I have to helpmy brother on his bus this morning. But anyways, when I went to school today for a Junior Civitan meeting, which we were holding elections for club officers for the new school year. I was very happy when my friend told me that I had won Treasurer and that it was a unanimous vote. This was one of the first leadership positions I have ever had during my high school year career, and I feel blessed to be apart of a strong line of school leaders. Taking this next step is a wise one because I know that I am responsible and very organized with my work, so keeping records of things should not be a problem for me. We also recieved our progress reports today, and I feel so accomplished. I got a 96 in AP Biology right now,  (this is my first AP class I have ever taken)! An 89 in Psychology, my favorite of the day! And drumroll please (taps on table), and a 87 in Statistics! Math has never been my favorite subject, but this year I have made extra steps and measures to excel in my last high school math class. My number one goal for this school year is to graduate with Straight A's. Why am I doing this you may ask? Because I know that I have the capability to do my best work in every class that I take and just because I may have not achieved this goal last year, does not mean that I should give up. I want to graduate without regreting my decisions, but smiling because I accomplished so of the most hardest tasks with my hard work and dedication. Is it possible for me to get staright A's in my senior year? Absolutely, positively, yes! It's going to take a lot of work and long hours of studying, but its worth the time. People say that if you want something bad enough, that you should do everything it takes to make a goal come true. So that is what I am doing this school year, putting my education first so that I can live the life that I have always dreamed about!
